The All Party Parliamentary committee met on Wednesday to discuss the impact of Brexit on the arts, the campaign for Art History A’level and other art events.

Today was the first groups of GCSE Art and Textiles mocks, with two groups of students making the outcomes they have been working towards these last few weeks..

They worked hard, we think their work is amazing and we are very proud of them all.

These students are going to write some Haikus to accompany their paintings and we’ll then make them into Japanese folding books….

These year 8 students have been exploring mark-making through the use of ink on to primed paper. Using controlled and fluid marks, looking carefully at Van Gogh and Maggie Hambling they are making superb studies.
