Y10 Coursework.

Y10 groups are all involved in different aspects of making. Some are using pen and ink to develop drawing skills and other groups are making natural forms from clay. Here are some samples of their fabulous work…

 

Year 7 Painted Collages

Year 7 have been learning about observational drawing with pencils, and scissors. They have been inspired by Matisse and Delaunay. After painting large sheets of paper they used them to cut out drawings they made from still life set ups. I am impressed by their colour and shapes.

Year 9 Painting

Year 9 have been developing their painting skills from their abstract painting project in Year 8. Now they are layering acrylic paints and thinking about interesting compositions. They have been looking at Hockney, Peter Doig and Turner Prize nominee Hurvin Anderson as inspiration. Their work is almost all up in the corridors, with only a few left to add..
